Supervised Agricultural Experience Otherwise known as SAE, is a project conducted outside of regular class that requires students to use the skills that they have learned in class. It can be anything from maintaining a website or producing plants to mechanical work or solving an agricultural problem. Outstanding SAE projects are eligible to recieve FFA awards (proficiency awards) or scholarships. There are seven types of projects: Entrepreneurship, Placement, Analytical, Improvement, Experimental, Supplementary, and Exploratory.
